Passionate about helping your animal feel their best
Elena Skaper BSc (Hons), PgD, MIRVAP is the face behind Stride Out Veterinary Physiotherapy, with a lifelong passion for all animals Elena has always loved spending as much time with them as possible, and from a young age has been interested in learning all she can about them. This interest led Elena to study at Nottingham Trent University for five years, completing an Extended Diploma in Horse Management with perfect grades, followed by a BSc in Equine Sport Science. Elena then went on to complete her PgD in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the University of Nottingham, where she remains for another year to complete her full MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Elena holds vast experience within the equestrian industry in particular, having worked and volunteered within rescue centres, riding schools, livery yards, competition yards and studs. She also has had great experiences volunteering for a local small animal rescue centre that houses dogs and cats. She deeply cares about every animal she works with and prides herself on always putting welfare first, treating animals with the kindness and compassion they deserve.
Elena is a member of the Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP), where she works within the Code of Practice and continuously takes opportunities to gain further education through continued professional development (CPD).
